Dirk joined Portfolio Advisors in 2017 and is Co-Head of the European Investment team. Previously, he was Head of Private Equity Europe at Mercer Private Markets, where he was responsible for European private equity and private debt investments, acting as senior portfolio manager and member of the investment committee. Prior to joining Mercer in 2015, Dirk was a Partner and Head of Investment Management at Strategic Capital Management (SCM), where he was responsible for private equity, real estate and infrastructure investments. Prior to joining SCM in 2006, Dirk had five years of corporate finance / M&A experience with Andersen, Ernst & Young and Sal. Oppenheim, focusing on mid- and large-cap M&A transactions across various sectors in Switzerland.
